This is my go-to dinner solution when it needs to be fast, easy, healthy and yummy! I go for a colourful veggie salad and barbecue chicken. I’ll show you a wonderfully tasty marinade to make your chicken really flavourful, and how to make your salad more nutrient dense than just lettuce leaves!

  1. Forgot to mention this in the video. I made the entire lot of chicken, but I don't eat it all in one meal of course! It's easy to store in the fridge for the next few days, so I can make more meals and just eat it cold, shred it over a salad, etc.

  2. Love the Fit Friday videos, thanks for bringing them back. I've flirted on and off with the vegan lifestyle; I'm curious why you've gone back to eating meat. I became weak at the 4 month mark on two different occasions two years apart, there was obviously something that I wasn't absorbing so had to give it up. I have vegan friends who do great and tout it as health affirming.

  3. Love these videos. Thinking of going to CrossFit myself as well, but I’m worried it would be too hard core for me and I’m not fit enough for that. Didn’t know you were no longer vegetarian. Need to look up the video you talk about it.

My weight loss correction: no meal over 400 calories, no snack over 250 calories, coffee with skim and no sugar, no snacking when out running errands, no soda or sugar in drinks, calories front loaded to lunch, light dinner. I lost >40lbs last year by doing this and haven’t gained it back. I’m not hungry. I don’t give up food I like. It works.
