I'm in my 40's now, but when I was a teenager, my parents warned me not to have sex until I was an adult because it would cause a severe fluctuation in hormones resulting in severe acne. I bought it, lol. Also, when I was 17, my best friend and I were to be extras on the TV show Superboy. My friend's father was an OB/GYN and Retin-A had just been introduced as a "miracle cure" for acne. My friend got a sample from her father and the night before the show was being filmed, we decided to spread the Retin-A all over our faces… thinking we'd wake up with perfectly beautiful skin. Well, we woke up the next morning with the most beet-red and puffy faces you've ever seen. We were mortified, lol. Ahhhh, the trials and tribulations of youth….

Going to see a dermatologist soon to confirm with them and hopefully get all cleared up…
