  6. Question (open to anyone's advice) I have very high inflammation in my body which causes bursitis, cystic acne and stomach issues. My skins natural exfoliation process is so slowwwww. I take lots of vitamins and have been on this kind of a diet for a while, although I admit I've gone through a few backslide periods. I still have scars on my face and breakouts that take over a month to clear. I have tried to double the amount of these foods I take in, but Im just too full to finish it all. It kills me to think of giving up coffee…but maybe I have to….advice?

  7. Also, vegetables oils including canola oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, peanut oil have a really high omega-6 content as well as cause inflammation (especially when oxidized and damaged from high heats)!

  8. With talking about the oil barrier on our skin and consumption of fats, would eating a higher amount of those omega 6 fats contribute to more oily skin? Just curious, love your videos!!

  10. Sometimes I worry about the negative affect that the sugars in rich coloured vegetables and fruit may have on the skin e.g. beetroot and peppers. But I know they are high in micro nutritents. Is it better to have the high sugar fruit/vegetable in order to get the anti oxidants or is it better to opt for low sugar fruit/vegetable as sugar binds with collagen and inflammation.

  11. I would love for you to do a video on the Paleo diet. My husband has chrons and an autoimmune skin disorder, he has been following the auto immune protocol Paleo diet for over 6 months and it's crazy how much his autoimmune disorders and skin have approved! Dermatologists love to tell us that it doesn't matter what we eat our skin is our skin, this is so untrue!

  13. PREACH!! Haha I'm a dietetic student and applying for DI's next year (hopefully I get one!) haha anyway I love using food to help with life!! I noticed when I switched my diet to one higher in anti-inflammatory foods and lower in sugar, dairy, meat, my skin started to actually glow! I love that you are sending out this message because acne is something that is so avoidable and shouldn't plague us even into adulthood!

  15. Hi Becca! I love your videos! So I have been gluten free due to a intolerance for 3 years now, and honestly feel like my diet has been worsened since going gluten free. I feel like since cutting out gluten I'm also cutting out other important nutrients overall in my diet. I struggle to get the amount of protein, and carbs I need each day honestly because I stick with the basics of gluten intolerance. Usually I just stick with a salad with chicken because I know it's safe for me to eat. My question for you is how can I become more healthy and balanced with my diet while having a gluten allergy?

  17. I LOVE your videos!!!! I recently had a talk w my guy friend who is super toned and asked him how his diet was and he said he does a low carb (no rice no wheat no multigrain NOTHING) and high fat high protein diet, do you mind doing a video on this? This didn't sound right to me especially when he told me that I could eat as much bacon as I want LOL and cheese, he also mentioned he eats up to 18 eggs a day. Isn't this super bad for cholesterol?! And don't you need carbs in your diet?!

  18. I have trouble drinking water because I never liked it but I am getting enough. If I get the at least the minimum(43oz), should that be enough for me? Because I do find it difficult some days even though I know drinking more is supposed to make u feel better

  19. I have been trying to eat this way for the past couple of months and I have noticed a difference in my skin…I did it so I would eat more anti-inflammatory foods since my sinuses are always inflamed which equals me not tasting food for the past 6 months.

  20. Amazing video! I love drinking water before bed and in the morning while I have a cup of coffee, but sometimes I don't drink enough water throughout the day. I need to buy a 20oz cup like yours and just refill it during the day. Thanks for sharing Becca! โ™กโ™ก

  21. I was dying for a great skin video! This is super off topic but have you ever studied abroad? I'm thinking about possibly Italy and wanted to know if you had any advice, I swear I remember you mentioning something about it!
